Rev. Harry is a native of northeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduating from college, Rev. Harry became a school teacher with Orange County Schools in Hillsborough, NC. He received the call to the ordained ministry, graduating from Divinity School at Duke University in 1994. He has served as Associate Pastor at Highland UMC in Raleigh, NC, Pastor of Franklinton UMC in Franklinton, NC, and Pastor of Trinity UMC in downtown Raleigh, NC. In addition to his pastorates, Rev. Harry has served as Chaplain to the North Carolina House of Representatives in the General Assembly for the past thirteen years.
Rev. Harry is an avid cyclist. He also enjoys running, swimming, and reading, and is a huge fan of taking naps.
Rev. Harry and his wife, Robin, have four children between them: Luke, Chelsea, Tyler, and Ellen.
