We will have our traditional Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 21 at 6PM, and then at 7PM we are excited to announce the music of The Royal Descendants! This Southern Gospel quartet represents decades of dedication to glorifying God, encouraging the church, and witnessing through song and testimony (and they feature one of Rev. Beth’s favorite Southern Gospel tenors who is from right here in Goldsboro: Denny Sutton!)

There is no charge for this event—all supper donations will benefit UMYF Missions. A special love offering will be taken for the Royal Descendants.

This is a rare treat you won’t want to miss!

Celebrate Mother's Day with a Free Concert!

Bring your mother, wife, and daughters to the ORGAN DEDICATION CONCERT on Mother's Day, Sunday May 13 at 4 PM. The fabulous virtuoso organist, Felix Hell, will play and demonstrate our Rodgers-Ruffatti organ.  This is a customary part of the process, that the church introduces it's wonderful new organ to the public with a premier by a well established artist. With Mr. Hell's virtuosity and artistic sensitivity, we will hear the organ demonstrated to it's fullest capacity. The concert is free to the public, a gift to our congregation from a private donor and member of St. Paul, partially funded by R. A. Daffer Organ Co. It will be promoted throughout Central and Eastern NC by the AGO. A reception will follow.

Pastor Appreciation

October may have been Pastor Appreciation Month, but we can always remember our pastors with thanks, pats on the back, words of encouragement, food, cards, and most of all, your prayers. They need to know we love and pray for them, also!

St. Paul has been a supporter of the Senior Companion program for a long time. We currently have two workers that we support. The Senior companion worker is available to come into the home of someone who needs companionship and a little help with things in their home. Currently we have one member of the church who utilizes a senior companion for part of the day, one day a week. If you know of any church member who could benefit from this program, please contact Scottie Weathers, St. Paul Senior Companion Coordinator at 734-3055.  This program can be a big benefit for caregivers and offer one more resource for those who need extra help.

Join us for Prayer Group on Wednesday morning!

We meet at 10 AM, and we have permanently moved to the J. Paul Edwards classroom in the administrative building.

Join the Audio-Visual Team!

We need additional people to join an amazing group of people who work behind the scenes to make sure our worship services and events are seen and heard! If you have A/V experience, great; if not, don’t worry. We will teach you all you need to know. It’s easy and you may only need to help out once a month. We have two major venues: the Fellowship Hall working with Contemporary Worship and the Sanctuary working with Traditional Worship. We have needs in both areas, plus we need additional help to edit the TV broadcast. Contact Bill Gaines or Brian Gurley for more information.

Honor someone you love in a special way!  For a donation of $100, the television broadcast of the worship service can be given in honor or memory of your loved one. Contact the church office with your request. Your gift will be announced during the church service and your loved one will be notified of the donation.
