October is all about Daniel in the Lions’ Den!

In creative hands-on ways, we will: discover biblical characters who stood up for their belief in God’s rules; discuss ways to stand up for what we believe; experience ways God calls us to be faithful even though it may be hard to do; discover that by being faithful go God, we are setting an example for those who may not know God; and discover that sometimes it takes courage to stand up for our faith in today’s world.

Discovering God’s plan for our lives can be frustrating. Some have described it as the most challenging experience of the Christian life. But it shouldn’t be. It doesn’t have to be. After all, God is the preeminent communicator. And as your heavenly Father, he wants you to know his will for your life. In this six part series, Andy Stanley and Jeff Henderson explain, in the most practical ways imaginable, how to discover and embrace God’s game plan for your life.

“Beginnings”         September 11 – 9:45 AM

Join Annette Harper, Karla Jeffreys and Rev. Beth upstairs in the Administrative Building for a new Adult Sunday School Class named “Beginnings.” 

Through this new class we hope to provide a spiritual journey for seekers, new believers, and longtime Christians who want to explore the basics of Christianity in a relaxed, nurturing environment.During our first 12 weeks, Annette Harper, Karla Jeffreys and Rev. Beth will help us delve into questions such as:So, is this all there is? Who is Jesus, and why should I care? Why am I not where I want to be? What happens when I die? Can I trust God? If I don’t feel lost, why do I need to be found? Can I start again? How can I make a life and not just a living?Why should I join any group that will have me as a member?

Not only do we have several studies available here, the Conference Media Center is stocked full with wonderful resources (and they are free to check out!)let Rev. Beth know what you are looking for, and we will identify what is just right for your group.
