Everyone will be receiving in their home mail an Advent Coin Box as a way for you and your family to make a special Advent Mission offering this year. Like the coin folders we have used in previous years, we invite all families to add quarters to the box each day during Advent for a total collection of $20.00. You can mark them on the box as you collect them and bring the box as a special offering during our Christmas Eve Worship Service.
This year our Advent mission offering will help provide comforters to refugees from Armenia through Project Agape. The Christian people in Armenia are being persecuted and forced to become refugees simply because they are Christians. For $20.00, a factory in Armenia can supply these refugees with a twin-sized comforter, pillows, and sheets as they face the coming winter. Our Saint Paul Missions team invites you to pray for the people of Armenia as you collect your quarters each day in support of our Christian sisters and brothers around the world. We would like to supply 100 refugees with comforters this year, so we need 100 families to share in this special offering.
